Temple Hill Primary Academy is looking to appoint an ICT Technician with a pleasant and adaptable personality to join its friendly group of staff.

Temple Hill recently transferred to an Academy under The Galaxy Trust. The position is for 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term-time, plus 5 training days and one additional week).

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Business and Business Manager.

An up-to-date knowledge and practical experience of current I.T. hardware and software packages (a knowledge of SIMs would be desirable); A high level of organisational skills; Outstanding interpersonal skills with both children and adults; Ability to work to deadlines and use own initiative; Ability to work within a team.

Information about the school

Temple Hill Primary Academy is a large school with over 700 children aged 3-11 years on roll currently.

The School has been open for approximately 60 years and converted to Academy Status in September 2016. It serves a large residential catchment area. 26 different languages are spoken by our children who come from diverse backgrounds. Currently we have 37% FSM.

We are fortunate in having a spacious building comprising 26 classrooms, 2 halls, 2 libraries (FS / KS 1 and KS2), 2 canteens, 2 FLO offices, sensory room, play therapy room, counselling rooms, a speech and language room, care suite, offices and resource areas outside some classrooms. We have a full outdoor learning programme.

We are about to expand to 4 forms of entry and a new building programme of eight classrooms is well underway.

Temple Hill works closely with Oakfield Primary Academy, who both form The Galaxy Trust.
