Funeral Arranger / Administrator - Part Time

Danbury, Essex

Monday to Friday - 25 hours per week

£17,000 - £23,000 pro rata dependent on experience and ability

+ Auto enrolment pension


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Funeral Arranger to join our client, an expanding company based in Danbury.  The Funeral services based in Danbury are one of 3 funeral offices within the group. The other offices are based in Maldon and Southminster.

About the role:

As a Funeral Arranger / Administrator you will be responsible for the day to day administration of the branch office in accordance with company policy, arranging funerals, liasing with third parties, suppliers and delivering a personal service of the highest quality, based on trust and recommendation.  You will be able to understand and address the needs of the bereaved.

About you:

As the successful Funeral Administrator, you will be a caring, empathetic and confident individual with a smart, professional appearance, dedicated to serving families at one of the most difficult times in their lives.

This position requires a versatile individual who not only has a strong background in administration and is fully computer literate, but is also someone who can deal with bereaved families face to face and is able to communicate with people at what is often an extremely difficult time for them.

Ideally you will have previous Funeral arranging experience, however, if you are a strong administrator, who is versatile, friendly, caring, great with people and able to work under pressure, then you could be exactly who our client is looking for.
